Rush Arts Gallery + Resource Center’s exhibition program seeks to facilitate a contemporary dialogue between new audiences and emerging artists, curators and writers through four thematically structured group exhibitions per year. All exhibiting artists and guest curators are selected from our annual call for submissions, which is free and open to the public. Selections are only made through this process; unsolicited mailings outside the month of February will not be reviewed, returned or kept on file. The gallery offers an excellent opportunity for independent curators to realize their projects in an established venue that makes innovative contributions to the contemporary art world.
All applicants must have prior curatorial experience. We will be accepting application packages from February 1 - 28, 2010 for consideration for the 2010 – 2011 exhibition year. Applicants will be contacted by email during the month of June and if your work is not selected or kept on file, it will be returned to you. Incomplete packages will not be reviewed and we will not be accepting any submissions by slides or portfolio links this year. A completed application package should be sent in a 9” x 12” envelope.

2010 GUEST CURATOR APPLICATION
